The D-Tec system consists of three high quality parts: a computer module (moulded), a special sensor and a multi color indicator. The D-Tech system is easy to mount by means of the additional supplied parts. The multi color indicator has  a stainless steel housing and all parts are fully weather proof.

D-Tec systeem

 

The D-Tec system has been developed especially for motorcycles with a dry sump lubrication  system.

 

Although this lubrication system is already for years on the market, is it known that the lubrication performance at cold engine is only very moderate.  This is caused by the difference in temperature coefficient between oil and the moving parts in the engine and the very slow warming up curve of this lubrication principle.  Applying full load on a cold dry sump lubricated engine will cause very high engine wear or even total engine failure.  The D-Tec system monitors the temperature behaviour and informs the driver about the status on his instrument panel.

 

The D-Tec system fits on all dry sump lubricated machines like : Harley Davidson, Buell, Yamaha and many other brands.
